Can you store our luggage if my room is not ready?

Yes, we can certainly store your luggage if you arrive early. 

What is check in / check out time?

Check in is from 3pm and check out is 11.30am

Do you have smoking rooms?

We have a strictly no smoking policy at the hotel

Do you have room service?

Yes, we offer 24hour room service with limited service between 9.30pm and 7am

Do you have elevators / lift access to rooms?

Yes we do to some of our rooms.    Buswells Hotel comprises of 4 Georgian Townhouses with rooms on various levels throughout the building.   If you do require a room close to the lift, please advise us at the booking stage of your reservation.

Do you have laundry facilities?

We offer guests a same day laundry / dry cleaning service.   Items are collected daily at 9am from the hotel and are returned that evening.  This service is available Monday to Saturday (excluding Bank Holidays).

Do you supply non feathered pillows and duvets?

Yes, we can have non feather bedding in your room prior to your arrival – please advise the reservations team when reserving your room

Does the hotel have ice machines on the room floors?

No but you can certainly obtain a glass of ice from our bar on ground floor

Can we print boarding cards?

Yes we can.  Our reception team can assist you with this during your stay. 

Does the Hotel exchange foreign currency?

Yes we can exchange a small amount of your foreign currency.   There are numerous banks within a few minutes walk if you require larger amounts exchanged. 

What credit cards are accepted for payment?

Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, American Express and Maestro

We are checking in early of a red eye flight where can we get breakfast?

Breakfast is available in our restaurant every morning if you arrive early at a discounted rate of €13.00 per person for Full Irish Breakfast and €11.00 per person for Continental Breakfast.

How much is breakfast, if it’s not included in my rate?

If you wish to avail of breakfast whilst staying with us, we offer a discounted rate of Full Irish Breakfast is €13.00 per person and Continental Breakfast is €11.00 per person.

Do you have convertors / adaptors?

Our reception team have a small number of convertors for guests use during their stay.  Local voltage is 220 to 240 volts AC.

Do you have air-conditioning in your rooms?

No we do not. 

What is your Cancellation policy?

Cancellations on our standard packages can be made before 3pm on the day before arrival.  Any cancellation made after this time will incur a charge of the first nights’ accommodation being charged to the card used to secure the booking. 

What’s the difference between a standard double room and a compact double room?

Our standard double rooms are approximately 16sq meters and our compact double rooms are approximately 12sq meters.

What’s the difference between a double and twin room?

Our Double rooms have 1 queen sized bed and our Twin rooms have 2 single beds

What is a Prepay & Save rate? 

This discounted rate is available on our website and your card is charged the full amount in advance of your arrival.   All rooms booked on this package are non-refundable and non-transferable. 

Do you have WI-FI?

Yes we offer free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel for our guests. 

How far away is the shopping district?

Grafton Street is just 400m from our front door.

Where is the nearest ATM?

Bank of Ireland, St. Stephen’s Green – 350m from the hotel

What are the opening times of:

National Museum of Ireland, Archaeology :  Tuesday to Saturday 10am to 5pm, Sunday 2pm to 5pm.  (Closed Mondays)
National Gallery of Ireland: Monday to Saturday 9.15am to 5.30pm, Thursday 9.15am to 8.30pm, Sunday 11am to 5.30pm
Book of Kells, Trinity College :  October – April Monday to Saturday 9.30am to 4.30pm,  Sunday 12noon to 4pm
May – September Monday to Saturday 8.30am to 5pm,   Sunday 9.30am to 5pm

Do you have parking? / How much is it?

Buswells Hotel do not offer any car parking.  There are 2 public 24 hour car parks situated in walking distance.

Does the hotel have a valet service?

No, we do not offer valet service

Is there a free shuttle bus to and from the airport?

We do not offer a shuttle service.   For transfers to and from Dublin Airport,  we recommend either AirCoach or a taxi. 
Aircoach picks passengers up from outside the arrivals terminal and stops at all major hotels en route from  the airport to south of the city centre. The current cash price is €8.50 one-way or €14 return (prices correct August 2018).  They offer discounts if you book on-line.   For Buswells Hotel you should take Route 700 (Leopardstown Route).  The nearest stop to our hotel is Dublin City Centre - Kildare Street stop which is adjacent to Molesworth Street where the hotel is located.  All Aircoach services operate from the front door of both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 at Dublin Airport.    
Taxi.  The taxi-rank is also situated just outside the arrivals terminal.  You should expect to pay approximately €35.00 for a standard taxi.

Can you arrange wheelchair hire for our stay?

Yes, we arrange this during your stay with us. Please contact our reservations team. 

Where can I buy sightseeing tickets?

You may purchase tickets for 1 and 2 day hop on / hop off sightseeing tours from our concierge.
