Loved the hotel- room was comfortable and clean, lobby was lovely to relax in, staff were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. Was a little disappointed with the restaurant and bar. One whisky on ice I ordered seemed very weak, almost as if it were an old drink with partly melted ice. The Cesar salad was ok, but did not measure up to what it cost. Enjoyed the cheese board very much. Aside from these small things from the bar/restaurant, I loved my stay and will likely return.

Excellent location for both shopping and visiting Dublins fabulous galleries. Very comfortable, welcoming Hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.

Overall our experience was very good. What prevented the 5 score was: We had a meal in the Bar on Sunday night which was fairly good, but I must say that it is the first time that I have ever been served food on stone cold plates. Not even an attempt to warm them. This is something easily remedied!

Every stay at Buswells Hotel is a delight. Nice rooms with lovely sitting ares and restaurant. I always enjoy a cup of tea when I am there.

The room was much smaller than I was expecting, and there wasn't a lot of space for luggage. It was also quite old-fashioned, which is not necessarily a bad thing, but again, just not what I was expecting. Apart from that it was comfortable, staff were friendly and the breakfast was very nice.

Cosy and central in Dublin. Being a Dubliner, I'd never stayed overnight in the city, but this time a nearby wedding so involved, so we were glad to book Buswells, a regular meeting place. It lived up to our hopes, with friendly reception and comfortable room. We appreciated the landscape painted outside our interior facing room - made us smile. Breakfast is ample and varied, if a bit expensive, but one thing we would suggest - improve the coffee, as served at table. Unstellar at present. Otherwise, an excellent choice for anybody, even snarky Dubs

We had a very comfortable overnight stay and the breakfast was exceptional. The location of the hotel was exactly what we were looking for.

STAYING AT BUSHWELLS FOR ONE NIGHT WAS A GOOD EXPERIENCE.THE ROOM WAS SNUG AND COSY.THE BATHROOM WAS EVEN BETTER THAN THE BED ROOM INSO FAR AS IT HAD A LONG SHROW TRAY AND TOILET AND HAND BASIN WERE WELL SITUATED AND THE SHOWER GEL AND SHAMPOO DISPENSERES WORKED WELL.THE WARDROP IN THE ROOM NEEDED TO BE A BIT MORE SECURE AND GOING FULLY TO THE CEILING SO AS TO ALLOW FOR MORE STORAGE OF ITEMS. CONCERNS OVER THE ROOM WINDOW BEING ABLE TO BE OPENED SO MUCH.THE SAFETY DEPOSIT BOX WOULD BE BETTER IF AT EYE LEVEL FOR EASE OF ACCESS. SINCE YEAR 2000 THERE IS A GREAT LEVELING UO OF HOTELS AS REGARDS PRICE . HOTELS NEED TO MOVE TO A POSITION OF NOT USING THE NIGHT TIME RESTAURANT FOR MORNING BREAKFAST IT IS A BIG ASK BUT THE BREAKFAST AREA NEEDS TO BE LIKE THE ROYAL RAMBELS HOTEL IN LAS RAMBLES IN BARCELONA WHERE THE BREAKFAST AREA IS AT HOTEL TOP FLOOR LEVEL BECAUSE BREAKFAST IS FRUITS AND JUICES TO ENHANCE THE DAY. BREAKFAST FOR ME IS USUALLY 45 MINS TO 1 HOUR AND IF I AM LOOKING OUT A TOP FLOOR WINDOW WHERE EVER I AM INTHE WORLD AT MORNING TIME I CAN SEE THE WEATHER AHEAD FOR THE DAY . WILL IT BE TO WINDY FOR AN UMBRELLA I CAN TELL IF I SEE TREES BLOWING IF IT IS RAINING I CAN SEE RAIN IF IT GOING TO BE DRY AND SUNNY I CAN TELL IT DOESNT RUIN MY NIGHT TIME DINING EXPERIENCE BY HAVING ALREADY ON THE SAME DAY HAVE HAD BREAKFAST IN SAME RRESTAURANT. CAR PARKING AT BUSWELLS .WELL NOT EXACTLY BESIDE HOTEL BUT WAS WORKABLE . THERE WAS A STEEP INCLINE COMING OUT OF CAR PARK IF FROST ON GROUND MIGHT BE A PROBLEM PRICE OF BUSWELL HOTEL WAS COMPETITIVE WITH COMPETITORS STAFF AND SURROUNDINGS ALL EXCELLENT BRENDAN BAKER

Comfortable bed and quite rooms, very serviceable and friendly staff, excellent breakfast

We were a group of 6 people who stayed in Buswells Hotel at the end of October. It is such a lovely hotel to stay in especially because it is so central to town and very handy for everything. The staff are very welcoming and friendly at all times. We didn't book in for breakfast but they had no problem in serving us a small breakfast in the lounge area. We go to the theatre a lot and always stay in this hotel at least once a year.

Friendly & helpful staff, lovely comfortable room. Breakfast was delicious. Overall a very enjoyable stay, in a very convenient location.

stay was great, excellent location, there was a lift to the 2nd floor but there was quite a steep stairs then which was not ideal with a child and a buggy. Room was very clean.

I was very happy with my stay and will be booking again for January. We were able to access one of our rooms earlier in the day so we could get ready for the event we were going to. The staff were most helpful. Breakfast choices and quality was excellent, and the entire lobby is well appointed for private meetings. Thank you.

Door was very difficult to open - room 125 otherwise - gorgeous, cosy, quiet, warm, homely, and super value for location. I'll be back and the breakfast, best in Dublin!

The hotel was lovely and homey. However the bed was broken down and the bathroom floor was dirty.

Beautiful hotel, great location. Beautiful room … not a sound at night. Great nights sleep. Lovely food in restaurant and very relaxing lounge area. Definitely will be back.

Beautiful, cozy hotel in central location with wonderful authentic Irish hospitality.

We were a family of 6, including my 91 year old Mother-in-Law who has mobility issues. The hotel was lovely, very conveniently located to everything and was charmingly and tastefully decorated. The best part of the hotel however, was the amazing staff that assisted us in everything from putting a rented wheelchair together for my mother in law, to helping us navigate the unexpected chaos of "Budget Day" and potential protests which closed the road in front of the hotel for a day. Our heartfelt thanks to Ali at the front desk, and especially Ger, who helped us out so much and always (always!) with a smile on his face. They did indeed make our trip so delightful and the reason we would not hesitate to stay at Buswells again.
