I love staying at Buswells when I come to Dublin. The service is always friendly and helpful. The hotel is in a great location and has a lovely old Dublin feel to it - while still having all modern comforts and conveniences. The lobby area and the bar are also delightful to spend time in. Especially if you're into people watching. But mostly, I like Buswells because of their attention to guests needs and how you're made to feel welcome. I now consider Buswells my home away from home when I'm in Dublin and I look forward to my next visit.

Great location, the staff was wonderful, the restaurant was very good, and given the age of the hotel from the 1800s, the room/floor layout was a bit unusual but the accommodations up to date and well maintained. I would recommend to stay here for others.

A warm, cosy and friendly hotel, central to areas of interest in the city

Staff was excellent! common areas beautiful. breakfast great. room could use some updating. had to move from first room because sink was clogged. Please include conditioner in the room.

This was our first time visiting Dublin and we loved the Buswells hotel. The staff was very welcoming, especially Vanessa from reception who remembered our names and room and gave us lovely advice on sightseeing. We loved the historic building and all the lovely details of this hotel. The location was absolutely fantastic right in the heart of Dublin historic center. The only inconvenience was the fact that the lovely restaurant was always absolutely packed. We tried several times to eat there and all the tables were full. We only got a chance to have lunch there on our last day after complaining that we were unable to eat there at all every time we checked. They allowed us to sit at a "reserved table", the only table available at that time. We had a wonderful lunch there, but I wish priority was given to hotel guests. I think people from outside came to eat there resulting in guests being unable to eat at the hotel restaurant. Luckily we found many lovely places to eat in Dublin since the hotel is so nicely located in the city center. We hope to return soon at this lovely hotel.

My stay at Buswells was extremely comfortable and restorative after a transatlantic flight. Can't beat the friendliness, cosy atmosphere and quiet yet central location.

The hotel and staff were outstanding. Unfortunately, we had some noisy neighbors which made getting to sleep on the earlier side for day trips difficult.

We had a very lovely stay for 4 nights with the 6 of us. Really friendly and hospitable, nice and warm hotel and people from the doorman through Ella & friends at the desk to the waiters at the bar. My sixth time in Dublin, 3rd time with the whole family. We were so impressed that next time wer're going, this surely will be our place to stay again. Thanks. gtrz Ralph

Everything about this hotel was great. The breakfast was fantastic. The breakfast staff was fantastic. Laura at the front desk was delightful friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay here again.

Very relaxed atmosphere and very friendly staff

The public areas of the hotel met our expectations, and the food and service was good in the bar. The concierge staff were very helpful and friendly. However, our room (307) was disappointing - overall, the room was in need of an upgrade (it looked much better on the website photos than in reality). Also, the corridors and stairwells were on the shabby side (chipped paintwork and well worn carpets).

A lovely well run central hotel . There is a very homely atmosphere at Christmas and so convenient for shopping , restaurants etc. We are returning customers and find the staff helpful and courteous always .

I often eat at Buswells where from the doorman to waiting staff are brilliantly friendly. We stayed for the first time last week and was not disappointed with a breakfast to die for. We had our grandson with us. Staff went out of their way to welcome him. So thank you all so much for the best couple of days prior to Christmas. Adèle FitzPatrick l

I have stayed in Buswells a few times. The rooms aren’t fancy but very clean and comfortable but I love your hotel. I love the friendly vibe, the decor, the comfort, I love the way people sit around reading the paper and having a coffee or drink. The staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful. I feel like I’m in Dublin when I stay in Buswells. It’s my favourite hotel.

My stay in Buswells was very enjoyable The staff in both reception and the bar were excellent My only quibble is regarding the food It’s very average and could do with a makeover

Myself and my two friends had a really lovely stay - we love Buswells , Homely , warm , cosy yet with all mod cons - spotlessly clean , extremely w Arm attentive and friendly staff , lovely atmosphere , very comfy bedding , we all sleep Pt gt , lovely good/ did not have breakfast so cannot comment - location of course second to none ! Love it and will be back !

Both myself and my wife found the mattress very hard and uncomfortable.A good nights sleep was not had.
