This hotel is by far the best hotel experience I’ve had at a hotel in my entire adult life. From the moment that you check in to the moment that you check out, the service exceeded my expectations. During our stay in Dublin, my good friend was injured. The staff at the hotel, went up above and beyond to make the remainder of her stay as comfortable as possible. Each time my friends and family came down they asked about her and if there was anything that she needed, how they could help they showed genuine care that you don’t typically see in today’s world. One of the staff members brought in their personal cane to assist her in walking. We are so thankful to all of the staff and when we return we will only choose Buswells as our place to rest.

Great location,very friendly and helpful staff. Food is very good in the bar and the breakfast has good choice. Beds are comfortable.Very good public transport.

We chose to stay at the historic Buswell Hotel for our week long anniversary trip to Dublin this past week at the recommendation of Rick Steves and a family member, and we are so happy that we did! We have decided that the Buswell will be our home away from home when we travel to Ireland from this point forward! It is conveniently located around the corner from Trinity College, St Steven’s Green, several museums, Parliament, and the shopping district. We found the hotel very attractive, clean, and reasonable—enough so that we stayed 6 nights. Our room was quiet, comfortable and attractive. The restaurant serves delicious meals at affordable prices as well! We took advantage of the breakfast package. Our favorite servers were Rhys and Elliot, who are brothers! They were most professional, personable, attentive, and entertaining! Tania, the maitre’d, took good care of us each day. Paddy was our exceptional concierge—the best we’ve ever had! He was so helpful every day—he will take good care if you, as well! We highly recommend the Buswell for your stay in Dublin

Good Value, the room was a bit too hot

Wonderful inn - the service was top notch, both in the hotel and the restaurant. They were especially helpful when we arrived, providing suggestions for lunch and nearby sites to visit. The rooms were lovely and the food was very good. Buswells was a very comfortable and friendly place to stay in Dublin!

We loved staying at Buswells. The hotel was welcoming and the room was spacious and extremely comfortable. Classy hotel in a superlative location in central Dublin. Staff made the experience a delight.

Room was overheated when we arrived, we had to open the windows to let the heat out and turn off the radiators. We say this to be constructive: we found the room rather drop in colouring, the black-and-white photos should be replaced with attractive, colourful paintings. The lights were incredibly dim., it was very difficult to read. The bed was really comfortable.. Breakfast: the pancakes were not good, the staff seemed overworked despite the lack of customers. It would be nice if the breakfast room had Windows.. Reception: the staff were nice and business like. We ordered a glass of wine at the bar, and found ourselves paying €13 for it…… a bit pricey. The bar is very nice otherwise. Overall, it’s a very nice hotel,, I like that it is old-fashioned, it makes it feel very genuine.

Extremely enjoyed our time at Buswells. From Paddy at the front desk to the girls behind reception and in the bar area everything was perfect.Breakfast excellent, position and comfort first class.I would NO hesitation in recommending this Hotel to ANYBODY who was wishing to stay in Dublin

Perfect stay - location is great, staff are welcoming, friendly and so helpful. Room comfortable and quiet. I enjoyed the traditional room door key! Have already recommended to two colleagues who have stayed in the week since I stayed so cannot recommend any higher than that.

Excellent, and excellent value for money too

The location of the Hotel was very convenient; the quality of the rooms was very good; the breakfast buffet was quite good; and the staff service was wonderful. Highly recommended.
