Enjoyed our stay at Buswells. Room was clean and comfortable, staff very accommodating, and location was great. Walk to many sights including Trinity College and the Temple Bar area. Highly recommend Buswells for your temporary home in Dublin.

The front desk service was excellent. The floor creaked. The walls were extremely thin and I could hear the neighboring room quite loudly. I was also kept awake by noise from the birds outside. I did not sleep well because of this. There was only one tiny towel in my bathroom.

We really enjoyed our two night stay at Buswells. We were in the center of everything, a short walk to almost all of the sites we wanted to visit. This alone would make the hotel a great choice, but in addition the spaces were elegant and comfortable, and the breakfast abundant and delicious. The staff was courteous and helpful, even allowing us to check in upon our morning arrival, something we had not expected to be able to do. Definitely would recommend this hotel.

Staff were great. The room was perhaps the smallest I've experienced and very expensive I think.

All of the staff at Buswell's were very helpful - from the gentleman who helped us when we arrived at 6:30 am after a long flight, to the women who helped us make dinner reservations. Thank you!

The hotel location was central enough to do most of south Dublin fairly easily by foot, with very easy access to Grafton Street and Trinity College. The staff were very nice and eager to please. The continental breakfast spread had good selection but the hot breakfast left us a bit wanting (we did not complain or ask for anything to be recooked, just made do with the cold choices). The room was comfortable enough, with a nice sitting area, and very useful reading lights above the bed. There was an unfortunate 2-inch change in floor level which made a trip hazard just inside the door, and for the quality and other reviews of the hotel we were surprised at the worn and aged appearance of the bathroom porcelain & fixtures.

I think one of the strengths of Buswells is the true friendliness and helpfulness of some of the employees like the server we had for 2 of our breakfasts, 3 of the receptionists at the desk, and the bartender/server? at the bar. The Truman also had tasty food. We appreciated the amount of outlets and USB spots available in the room. I loved the crisp sheets and pillowcases

We had a lovely time in Dublin thanks to our great accommodations at Buswells. From our first pint at the bar watching Ireland score a tie 1-1 against Austria to our nightly digestives at the bar we loved the hotel. Nice welcome and happy fun staff. Thanks,

Every member of staff we encountered during our stay at Buswells was friendly, courteous and helpful. Comfortable room and bed, change of pillows and alternative to duvet supplied willingly on request. Breakfast is excellent, lunch in the lounge, dinner in the bar were very good. Buswells is centrally located, within easy walking distance of so much of the city, yet we were unaware of any traffic noise. A really efficient hotel - what a delight ! https://www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g186605-d209076-r493742741-Buswells_Hotel-Dublin_County_Dublin.html#

The location was excellent, staff were very helpful and the hotel had old-world charm. We rented a cozy double because it was the only double room left, and the room was quite small. There was barely enough room to get around the foot of the bed. However, we knew this when we rented the room, and I am still glad we stayed here.

We stayed at Buswells for 4 nights while visiting Dublin. Our experience was excellent. The location was perfect, close to Trinity College, shopping, pubs and many museums. We got tickets (in advance) for the hop-on-hop-off bus which stopped near Buswells and it worked out great. The staff were very friendly, yet professional and did all they could for us during our stay. The hotel was excellent but it also had "character". The breakfast service was superb. We ate in the pub or the restaurant a few times and always had a wonderful meal, but even if we went out during the day or evening, we enjoyed stopping in the bar to end the day. It's a very comfortable atmosphere (no loud music!) and it was clear that local people used it as a meeting place after work or for a meal before an evening out. The next time we visit Dublin, we will definitely stay at Buswells.

In addition to the excellent hotel & wonderful staff, take advantage of its outstanding location - walking distance to everything. And start with the Museum of Archeology next door for a fascinating lesson in Irish history. Maurice, Connecticut, US.

As I mentioned on parting, in room 113 there is a crack in the wall, opposite the head of the bed, no doubt made by your guests trying to reach the luggage rack near the window. The path to the rack is a "tight squeeze". Also i found entry to the shower quite narrow....I was surprised that the room was so small, though for a single person it was adequate. It reminded me of staying at Campanile Chain of Hotels in France which are reasonably priced., but are even smaller accomadations. The service was fine and the surroundings in your public rooms were relaxing and pleasant. I especially enjoyed the ability to order from the snack menu. One suggestion for your maintenance crew is to always vacuum the rugs rather than sweeping. I noted that sweeping in the front room, through the doors next to the lobby, succeeded in bringing up a cloud of dust from the carpets. The carpets may need to be reversed and vacuumed from the back side from time to time. The vacuuming may only reach the surface of the rugs and not the deeper dust which the broom sweeping brought up! Loved the location of your hotel...For me, it was within walking distance of all the "must sees" that I could manage in my three day stay.

I really liked your hotel, great location, friendly staff, nice atmosphere but... I had the misfortune to be occupying the single room which I found claustrophobic. So much so that I checked out a night early. ...a pity.

I loved everything about Buswells Hotel. Easily reached by Air Coach from the airport. Perfect location, walking distance to the museums, St. Stephen's Green, Grafton St and Temple Bar. Beautiful hotel, wonderful attention to detail, very comfortable bed, generous sized room. The staff was very friendly and helpful from the front desk to the food servers to the housecleaners. Everyone had a smile on their face and a welcoming attitude. The entire experience made us feel right at home. I would definitely stay there again.

We loved our stay at Buswells...great location, terrific bar and food. Rooms were a bit small but very comfortable. Some earlier reviewers called the hotel "quirky".. we agree as far as the floor and room locations, but it just added to the charm of the hotel. Great place to stay and would do it again!

We enjoyed our stay very much. Your staff was very kind. Especially the gentlemen who served us breakfast each morning. He was kind and entertaining as well. He was also the one who offered and assisted us to our room as we had several bags and 2 children. He saw that we were struggling a little and was very quick to assist and even got my son some warm milk for his bottle! I want to say his name was Pat but I may be wrong. Thank you!
